Creekside Nursery Limited is owned and operated by Dennis and Louise Trevisanutto and family in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Since 1974, Creekside has been producing some of the finest quality bedding plants in Northwestern Ontario. Now Creekside has grown to be the area's most complete garden centre, supplying retail and wholesale customers with bedding plants, trees, shrubs and a full selection of garden supplies in the spring season, as well as poinsettias at Christmas and various other seasonal plants.

Trevisanutto, President & C.E.O. dennis@creekside.ca Dennis was born in Fort William, Ontario (now Thunder Bay). As a youngster, his love of plants developed very quickly as he worked helping his parents, Buck and Inez Trevisanutto, growing vegetables and flowers on their small farm. After Elementary School, Dennis attended Port Arthur Collegiate Institute where he excelled in many sports, especially football. After high school, he played for the Port Arthur Mustangs and in 1959 had an opportunity to play professional football with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, but decided to come home and marry his high school sweetheart and join the Port Arthur Police Department where he served seventeen years. Dennis and his wife Louise founded Creekside Nursery in 1974. It all started with a greenhouse measuring only 1200 sq. ft. with only the family (Dennis, Louise, Dennis Jr., Joseph and Leanne) on staff. Today the operation has grown to approx. 100,000 square feet of greenhouse with office/warehouse/staff rooms and a full Garden Centre and employees up to 60 in high season. Sadly, Joseph who was VP Production succumbed to cancer in 2000. Leanne has chosen to remain in the business and is VP and General Manager. In his career, Dennis has been president of the John St. 4H Club, President of the Port Arthur Mustang Football Organization, Director of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, and member of many other organizations. Dennis has 7 beautiful grandchildren, three girls and four boys. Dennis enjoys playing golf whenever he has the opportunity.
